This short note explains what happens to the details you give us when you join the LawPool launch list. It covers the launch list only — we'll publish a fuller privacy policy before the platform itself opens.

Who we are

LawPool is a freelance legal talent platform based in Ireland. If you have any questions about your data, email us at hello@lawpool.ie.

What we collect

Your name and email address (required, so we can recognise you and get in touch)
Your phone number (optional — only if you choose to give it)
The date and time you signed up

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

We use these details for one purpose: to let you know when LawPool opens and to share early-access information. Our lawful basis under the GDPR is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the sign-up form.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until LawPool launches and you've had the chance to create an account, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first. If the project doesn't proceed, we'll delete the list.

Who sees it

Your details are stored securely with our form and hosting providers (Netlify) and are seen only by the LawPool team. We do not sell or share your details with third parties for their own marketing.

Your rights

You can withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your details at any time — just email hello@lawpool.ie. You also have the right to access a copy of your data, to have it corrected, and to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
